Hotel rate structure

Eligibility and ID

  • Eligible team members include permanent, part-time, casual, contracted staff, and interns.
  • Excluded entities listed in the policy include Four Seasons Koh Samui, Four Seasons Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Tented Camp, JW Marriott Resort & Spa Phuket, St. Regis Bangkok, and POP MART.
  • Accepted verification includes Minor Card, Humatrix profile in Thailand, Minor Team Member Identification Form, booking confirmation from a Minor domain email, Europe and Americas employee card, or Fourth app for Wolseley Hospitality Group.

Booking channels by region

  • Europe and Americas: use `nh-hotels.com` and promo code `MINOR`, or use the “Team member reservations” section through the intranet or My NH app for Europe and Americas entities.
  • Asia, Indian Ocean, Middle East, Africa, and Brazil: use `minorhotels.com` with promo code `MINOR`; if unavailable online, email the hotel directly or `reservations@minorhotels.com` with subject `Minor Hotels Team Member Rate Request`.
  • Australia and New Zealand: complete the request form, obtain manager approval, and send to `teamtravel@theoaksgroup.com.au`. Business travel still goes to `travel@theoaksgroup.com.au`.

Key operating rules

  • Europe and Americas fixed-rate availability applies when occupancy forecast is below 90% and arrival is within 90 days; otherwise Tier 4 discount logic applies.
  • Tier 5 hotel rates in Asia/IMEA/Africa/Brazil are available only when occupancy forecast is below 80%, otherwise they are at hotel discretion.
  • Maximum stay is 14 days where stated; maximum two rooms per team member per stay.
  • Hotel standard cancellation applies in most regions; AU/NZ uses a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Friends and family

  • Europe and Americas: 15% to 25% off BFR depending on occupancy and booking window. The 2025 promo code in the policy is `MINOR`.
  • Asia/IMEA/Africa/Brazil: minimum 40% off MBFR when occupancy forecast is below 80%, otherwise hotel discretion applies.
  • For Asia/IMEA/Africa/Brazil, team members must request the rate by emailing `reservations@minorhotels.com` or the property email with subject `Minor Hotels Friends & Family Rate Request`.

Behavior and usage

  • The team member must stay in one of the paid rooms to use the team member rate.
  • Team members serving notice period are not eligible.
  • Team member restaurant or canteen access is not allowed during the visit.
  • The benefit is a privilege and can be revoked if conduct is inappropriate or disruptive.

How to prove eligibility

  • Workday team members present a QR code that must be opened live at the POS and match current status.
  • Non-Workday entities use a QR code or another IT-approved method managed by their company.
  • Stores may ask the team member to sign the receipt or another document when using the benefit.

Conditions and exclusions

  • Discount is not applicable to delivery, drive-thru, or outside catering.
  • Discount does not apply to promotional items.
  • Benefit applies to both equity stores and participating franchise stores.
  • The company may alter rates with or without prior notice.

  • Australia and New Zealand: 50% off F&B services at Oaks-managed outlets.
  • The discount is valid for a party of up to 8 people including the team member.

Additional hotel benefits

  • Europe and Americas include room upgrade if available.
  • AU/NZ team members may request one complimentary car park with the hotel manager before the stay, subject to availability.
  • For weddings, special events, retail outlets, wine, and champagne, the policy instructs team members to reconfirm directly with the venue.
